Police searching for missing person in Indiana

INDIANA — Police in Indianapolis are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 68-year-old man last seen Monday afternoon on the city’s north side.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, missing persons detectives are investigating the disappearance of David Freed.

Police describe Freed as 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighing about 180 pounds, with gray, balding hair and blue eyes.

Investigators said Freed was last seen around 2 p.m. Monday at a Dollar Tree near the intersection of West 86th Street and Ditch Road. He was reportedly wearing a blue hoodie, black shirt and khaki pants.

Anyone with information about Freed’s whereabouts is asked to call 911.

No additional details have been released as the investigation continues.
