LOUISIANA — One person was hospitalized with serious injuries following a shooting in downtown Baton Rouge early Sunday morning.
According to officials, first responders, including Baton Rouge Police, were called to the scene around 2:40 a.m. along 3rd Street. Authorities said the shooting occurred in front of the downtown pizza restaurant Schlittz & Giggles.
Emergency crews transported one victim to a local hospital. The individual’s condition was described as serious.
