
INDIANA — A child has died and two others were injured following a crash Sunday afternoon on the campus of Marian University, according to police.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said officers responded around 3:04 p.m. to a personal injury crash in the 3000 block of Cold Spring Road on the city’s north side.
Medics transported a child to the hospital in critical condition, along with two adult drivers who were reported to be in stable condition. Authorities said the child later died at the hospital. The child’s age has not been released.
Police said traffic is being affected in the area of Cold Spring Road and 30th Street as the investigation continues. Drivers are being asked to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
