
OHIO — One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash Saturday evening in Columbiana County, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash happened around 7:30 p.m. April 25 on State Route 170 near mile marker six in St. Clair Township.
Investigators said a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by a 41-year-old man from East Palestine, crossed the center line and collided with a 2017 Ford Escape driven by 26-year-old Katelyn Williams of Negley.
Williams was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Silverado was not injured, according to authorities.
Both lanes of the roadway were shut down for a period of time but have since reopened.
The crash remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
