GEORGIA — A vehicle fire shut down part of Interstate 516/Veterans Parkway Friday morning, according to authorities.
Chatham County Fire (CCFD) responded to the call around 8:02 a.m., dispatching multiple units to the scene. When crews arrived, they found a vehicle fully engulfed in flames.
All lanes of I-516 were closed during the incident as emergency responders worked to extinguish the fire and secure the area.
No injuries have been reported.
