One person arrested by U.S. Marshals following drug bust in North Carolina

NORTH CAROLINA — A Kings Mountain man is being held on a $1 million bond after being arrested on multiple drug trafficking charges in Gaston County, North Carolina, authorities said.

Gastonia Police, working with the U.S. Marshals Carolinas Regional Fugitive Task Force, arrested 42-year-old Ricardo Mitchell on Wednesday. Officials said Mitchell was wanted on 10 counts of drug trafficking, including eight counts related to cocaine and two counts involving methamphetamine.

Following his arrest, Mitchell was booked into the Gaston County Jail, where he remains under a $1 million bond.
