SOUTH CAROLINA — A man was found dead Wednesday as officers attempted to serve an arrest warrant at a home in Columbia, according to police.
The Columbia Police Department said officers were at a residence in the 1100 block of Benton Street when they discovered the body after arriving at the scene.
Authorities have not released the identity of the man or details about the circumstances surrounding his death.
A spokesperson for the department said the incident is under investigation, but no additional information was immediately available.
Officials have not said whether the death is considered suspicious.
