
TENNESSEE — A multi-vehicle crash has caused significant traffic delays early Wednesday morning along Interstate 240 in Memphis, according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation.
Officials said the crash was reported shortly after 4 a.m. near the Sam Cooper Boulevard area.
According to TDOT, the crash initially blocked three left lanes of the interstate. As of the latest update, the scene has been reduced to one blocked left lane, though delays continue in the area.
Traffic cameras showed emergency vehicles on scene with congestion backing up behind the crash site.
It is unclear how many vehicles were involved, and authorities have not confirmed whether anyone was injured.
Drivers were advised to use caution and expect delays while crews worked to clear the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
