
SOUTH CAROLINA — One person is in custody and another was hospitalized following a stabbing Monday morning in Myrtle Beach, according to police.
Officers with the Myrtle Beach Police Department responded around 8:33 a.m. to the 1004 block of South Ocean Boulevard for reports of a stabbing. The address corresponds to the Quail Inn and Suites, according to online records.
When officers arrived, they found two people suffering from injuries. One individual was transported to a hospital for treatment, while the other was treated at the scene.
Authorities said one person is now in custody in connection with the incident. No additional details about the suspect or victims have been released.
Police maintained an increased presence in the area as the investigation continued.
