FLORIDA — One person was killed and two others were injured in a shooting at a house party early Sunday morning in Davenport, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded shortly after 1 a.m. to a residence on Summerset Hills Drive following reports of a large gathering where gunfire broke out.
Investigators said three people were shot during the incident. One victim, identified as an 18-year-old male, was transported to a hospital where he later died. The other two victims were also taken to a hospital and are reported to be in stable condition.
Authorities said the shooting occurred at a VRBO-rented home where a party was taking place with an unknown number of guests.
No suspects have been taken into custody at this time. Detectives believe the incident is isolated and are continuing to investigate.
