
ALABAMA — A man has been arrested after a traffic stop in Russellville led to the seizure of multiple drugs, firearms and nearly $39,000 in cash, according to police.
The Russellville Police Department said the stop, which took place over Monday and Tuesday, resulted in officers recovering a large quantity of narcotics and other items.
Authorities reported seizing 76.24 grams of amphetamine, 56.41 grams of cocaine, including crack cocaine, and 28.7 grams of Ecstasy. Officers also recovered 17.55 grams of Suboxone in pill form, 61 unopened Suboxone strips, 7.95 grams of oxycodone and 7.33 grams of hydrocodone. In addition, police found 1.76 pounds of marijuana and multiple items of drug paraphernalia.
Investigators said three firearms and $38,977 in cash were also seized during the operation.
Dedrick Eugene White was arrested and charged with four counts of drug trafficking, first-degree possession of marijuana, certain persons forbidden to possess firearms and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Officials said additional charges are pending as the investigation continues.
