MICHIGAN — A man has died after a shooting and crash in Muskegon Heights Tuesday night, according to police.
The Muskegon Heights Police Department said 911 calls were received just after 9 p.m. reporting a shooting on Jarman Street south of Hume Avenue. Around the same time, authorities also received reports of a vehicle crashing into a building a couple of blocks north on Jarman near Hovey Avenue.
When emergency crews arrived at the crash scene, they found a 32-year-old Muskegon Heights man inside the vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a hospital, where he later died. His identity has not been released.
Police said officers from multiple agencies responded and located evidence connected to the shooting.
Investigators have not said what led up to the incident, and no suspect information has been released.
