
LOUISIANA — The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a shooting in the Broadmoor neighborhood that left one person hospitalized Wednesday morning.
Police said the shooting happened around 6:15 a.m. near the intersection of South Miro and General Taylor streets.
A victim suffering from a gunshot wound was transported by EMS to a local hospital for treatment. Authorities have not released the victim’s condition.
Investigators are also examining a secondary scene about two blocks away near Tonti and Delachaise streets. Police confirmed the two scenes are connected.
Detectives were seen questioning multiple people and neighbors at the secondary location, including a home in the 3700 block of Delachaise Street.
No additional details were immediately available as the investigation continues.
