
TENNESSEE — Three students required medical attention after reportedly using vape pens at Gibbs High School, according to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said deputies responded to the school after receiving reports that five students had allegedly used two vape pens. Of those students, three were evaluated as a precaution after needing medical attention. Officials did not immediately release details about their conditions.
The sheriff’s office collected the vape pens and said they will be tested for THC. Investigators have not confirmed what substances were inside the devices.
Officials said more information will be released as it becomes available.
