
OHIO — A Bucyrus man was killed in a motorcycle crash Sunday evening in Seneca County, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Authorities identified the victim as David Clayton, 43.
Troopers said Clayton was traveling southbound on State Route 100 on a 2014 Harley-Davidson Street Glide around 7:21 p.m. when he lost control of the motorcycle. Investigators believe he failed to navigate a curve, went off the roadway and struck a ditch, causing the bike to overturn.
Clayton was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials said he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The crash remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
