
VIRGINIA — An 18-year-old man was killed in an early-morning crash Sunday in Franklin County, according to Virginia State Police.
Authorities said the crash occurred just after 1 a.m. on Naff Road, approximately a mile and a half west of Route 220.
Investigators reported that a Ford F-250 was traveling along Naff Road when the vehicle ran off the left side of the roadway, went down an embankment, and overturned.
The driver, identified as 18-year-old Zebadiah Blaze Peery of Boones Mill, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
State police said the driver was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The incident remains under investigation by Virginia State Police.
