
KENTUCKY — A man was hospitalized Saturday afternoon after being shot in downtown Louisville, according to Louisville Metro Police.
Officers responded to the 200 block of East Broadway Street for a reported shooting. When police arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the foot.
Officers provided first aid at the scene until emergency medical personnel arrived. The victim was then transported to UofL Hospital for treatment. Authorities say the man’s injuries are considered non-life-threatening.
The Louisville Metro Police Department’s Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is leading the investigation. Police said there are currently no known suspects.
