
LOUISIANA — Eight people were arrested and multiple firearms and narcotics were seized following a months-long investigation into a suspected drug trafficking operation in Washington Parish, according to Louisiana State Police.
Authorities said the Louisiana State Police Narcotics/Violent Crime Task Force conducted the investigation in partnership with the 22nd Judicial District Court District Attorney’s Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. On April 9, investigators executed multiple search and arrest warrants at several locations across the parish.
State police said the operation resulted in the seizure of large quantities of heroin, methamphetamine and cocaine, along with seven firearms.
Eight individuals were arrested and booked into the Washington Parish Jail on drug and firearm-related charges.
Those arrested were identified as Christopher Fendley, 51; Damon Brown, 52; Chrissy Dykes, 46; Raymond Hart, 55; Luke White, 28; Kiefer Dedon, 35; Rafel Magee, 43; and Roan Bickham, 43 — all of Franklinton.
Officials said the task force is made up of personnel from multiple local, state and federal agencies across southeast Louisiana. The investigation remains ongoing.
