
OHIO — Two drivers were hospitalized with serious injuries following a head-on crash early Saturday morning in Liberty Township, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Authorities said the crash occurred around 12:09 a.m. on April 11 on U.S. Route 62 near Surber Lane.
According to investigators, 21-year-old Blake Mallow was driving a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado northbound on Route 62 when his vehicle crossed left of center. His pickup then collided head-on with a 2020 Ford Explorer Police Interceptor driven by 70-year-old Danny Strain, who was traveling southbound.
Both drivers sustained serious injuries and were transported to a hospital for treatment. Their current conditions have not been released.
The crash remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
