
PENNSYLVANIA — A man and a woman were taken into custody after allegedly flashing a gun at a school playground in Pittsburgh, according to police.
A Pittsburgh Public Safety information officer said officers were called to Montgomery Place on the city’s North Side around 2:45 p.m. Friday.
Investigators said one of the two adults displayed a firearm toward children who were on the playground as the pair walked by.
A school security guard provided a description of the suspects, and police located and detained them nearby.
Authorities said a firearm was recovered at the scene. No shots were fired, and no injuries were reported.
Charges are expected to be filed. Officials said additional details will be released once court documents become available.
Pittsburgh Public Schools has been contacted for comment. The incident remains under investigation.
