NORTH CAROLINA — A 21-year-old man was killed in a crash Thursday evening in Greensboro, according to the Greensboro Police Department.
Police said the crash occurred around 5:24 p.m. at the intersection of West Friendly Avenue and King George Drive.
Investigators said Paul Chambers III, 21, was riding a motorcycle on West Friendly Avenue when a driver in a Hyundai attempted to make a left turn onto King George Drive and collided with the motorcycle.
Chambers was pronounced dead at the scene due to his injuries, authorities said.
The driver of the Hyundai was transported to a hospital for treatment. Their condition has not been released.
Police said speed was a contributing factor in the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.
