KENTUCKY — A Bell County man wanted on a fugitive warrant is in custody after authorities say he was found with drugs and firearms.

According to officials, 28-year-old Cody Lambdin had previously been arrested by Kentucky State Police in connection with the investigation. Authorities were also searching for a second suspect, identified as Cameron Collins.

Deputies say Collins was located and taken into custody April 9 with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Service.

During a search of Collins’ home in Pineville, investigators reportedly discovered approximately 68 grams of methamphetamine, heroin or fentanyl, along with multiple firearms and drug paraphernalia.

Collins now faces several charges, including drug trafficking, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and a fugitive warrant tied to a vehicular homicide case in Tennessee.

He is currently being held at the Bell County Detention Center.

The investigation remains ongoing.
