OKLAHOMA — Three people were killed in a crash involving a rideshare vehicle Thursday night on Highway 412, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred around 8:48 p.m. April 9 at the intersection of U.S. Highway 412 and County Road 4160.

Investigators say the driver of an SUV had just picked up two passengers and was traveling north on County Road 4160. After stopping at a stop sign, the driver failed to yield before entering the highway and pulled into the path of an eastbound semi-truck traveling in the outside lane.

The semi struck the SUV, sending both vehicles off the roadway and into the center median. Troopers say the SUV rolled multiple times following the impact.

Authorities identified the driver of the SUV as Marissa K. Smith, 32, of Bartlesville. Two passengers in the vehicle, Randy K. Meeks, 66, and Griffin W. Parker, 47, both of Jenks, were also killed. All three were pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver and passenger of the semi-truck were not injured.

According to investigators, witness statements were consistent with the account provided by the semi driver. Next of kin have been notified.

The crash remains under investigation by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
