
VIRGINIA — A 17-year-old boy was killed in a late-night shooting Wednesday in Chesapeake, according to police.
Authorities with the Chesapeake Police Department said officers responded around 11:05 p.m. to a home in the 900 block of Landing Creek Drive after receiving reports of gunfire.
When officers arrived, they found the teen suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Police said the suspects have not been identified and were last seen leaving the area in a gray SUV.
