TEXAS — A Powerball ticket worth $100,000 was sold in Texas for the Wednesday, April 8, 2026 drawing, according to lottery officials.
The winning numbers were 3, 16, 17, 42, 52, with a Powerball of 3. The Power Play multiplier for the drawing was 2x. The estimated jackpot stood at $20 million, with a cash value of approximately $9.1 million.
No ticket matched all six numbers to claim the jackpot. However, the Texas ticket matched four numbers plus the Powerball and included the Power Play option, increasing the prize to $100,000.
Officials have not yet announced where in Texas the winning ticket was purchased.
Lottery officials advise the winner to sign the back of the ticket and contact the Texas Lottery to begin the claims process.
