TEXAS — A major crash is causing significant traffic delays Wednesday morning along Interstate 37 on the Southeast Side of San Antonio, according to authorities.
Officials said the crash occurred just before 7 a.m. on northbound I-37 at Loop 410, near mile marker 100.
As of around 7:30 a.m., only the left lane of traffic remained open while crews responded to the scene, leading to heavy congestion in the area.
Authorities warned drivers to expect delays and consider alternate routes while emergency responders worked to clear the roadway.
Details about what caused the crash and whether there were any injuries were not immediately available. The incident remains under investigation.
