ILLINOIS — A man was found dead on a CTA Blue Line train early Wednesday on the West Side of Chicago, according to police.
Officials said the incident occurred at the Racine Station near University Village around midnight.
The Chicago Police Department reported that the victim, a 54-year-old man, was discovered on the train. Authorities said he did not appear to have any visible trauma.
Police are working to determine the cause of death, and the investigation remains ongoing.
The Chicago Transit Authority said the incident caused temporary delays on the Blue Line between the UIC-Halsted and Illinois Medical District stops. Service has since resumed normal operations.
