GEORGIA — A man is in critical condition after being shot Tuesday afternoon in South Fulton, according to police.
Officers were called to an apartment complex on Waycrest Drive, off Riverside Drive SW, in response to reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds and in need of immediate medical attention.
Authorities said the victim sustained major injuries and was airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Investigators have not released details about what led up to the shooting, and no information about potential suspects has been made public.
The investigation remains ongoing.
