One person dead after being struck by vehicle in Pennsylvania

PENNSYLVANIA — At least one person is dead following a vehicle versus pedestrian crash Tuesday morning in Blair County, according to dispatch officials.

The crash was reported just after 6 a.m. along Pleasant Valley Boulevard in Antis Township.

Authorities confirmed the Blair County Coroner was called to the scene.

According to 511PA, all lanes in the area were closed between Rossi Drive/Tipton Road and the exit to I-99/US-220 as crews responded to the incident.

Additional details, including the circumstances surrounding the crash and whether there were other injuries, have not yet been released.

The incident remains under investigation.
