
OHIO — A woman was flown to the hospital Monday after being struck by a vehicle in Greenville, according to local authorities.
Police said the crash was reported around 4:45 p.m. at the intersection of Walnut Street and East Main Street. Ryan Benge said the woman was on a motorized scooter when she was hit by a driver.
Emergency crews responded to the scene, and the victim was transported by CareFlight to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
No additional details about the woman’s condition or the driver involved were immediately released.
The crash remains under investigation.
