Over 60 people arrested following drug investigation in Tennessee

TENNESSEE — More than 60 people have been arrested as part of a large-scale drug investigation spanning multiple counties in West Tennessee, according to authorities.

The operation, known as “Operation TriStar Hammer,” involved the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and local agencies, along with District Attorney General Jody Pickens.

Officials said grand juries in Chester, Henderson and Madison counties returned 141 indictments against approximately 75 individuals in late March. In the days that followed, more than 130 law enforcement officers executed warrants across the region.

Authorities confirmed that 61 people were arrested as a result of the operation.

Pickens said the effort is part of a broader push to combat drug trafficking, particularly involving methamphetamine and fentanyl, and emphasized that the investigation is ongoing.

Officials said additional enforcement actions are expected in the coming weeks and months.
