KENTUCKY — One person has died following a three-vehicle crash that shut down a major roadway in Whitley County, according to authorities.
The Whitley County Sheriff’s Office said the crash occurred along Cumberland Falls Highway near the Creekstone subdivision between Corbin and Cumberland Falls.
Officials confirmed one person was killed in the crash. The highway was closed in both directions as emergency crews responded to the scene.
Authorities also reported that a deputy responding to the incident was involved in a separate crash nearby when a cruiser collided with a school bus. Only minor injuries were reported in that incident.
The crash remains under investigation, and additional details have not yet been released.
