
TEXAS — Two women were killed in a head-on crash on Interstate 40 in Gray County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Authorities said the crash happened around 2 p.m. Sunday west of McLean.
Investigators said 81-year-old Dorothy Guinn of Pampa was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of I-40 in a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe.
Officials said the vehicle collided head-on with a 2016 Toyota Highlander driven by 60-year-old Ester Evenson of Amarillo.
Authorities said both Guinn and Evenson were pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
