FLORIDA — A roadway in Venice is closed as police investigate a suspicious death, according to authorities.
Officials said Grove Street South has been shut down while officers with the Venice Police Department investigate the incident.
Police responded to the 200 block of Grove Street South around 8:30 a.m. Monday after receiving a report of a suspicious death.
According to officers, there is no threat to the public.
Authorities have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding the death.
The investigation remains ongoing.
