LOUISIANA — Detectives with the Baton Rouge Police Department are asking for the public’s assistance following a shooting that occurred Easter Sunday at a community event in Gus Young Park.
According to officials, officers responded around 5:40 p.m. to reports of a shooting at the park, located along Gus Young Avenue in Baton Rouge. One person was found to have sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
During the course of the investigation, several male juveniles were detained and charged with various offenses, police said.
