
GEORGIA — Two people were injured in a shooting early Easter morning in Warner Robins, according to the Warner Robins Police Department.
Authorities said the shooting occurred in the 610 block of Clemson Drive, a residential neighborhood off Gawin Drive.
According to police, the incident began as a fight that turned violent, leading to gunfire.
Officers were dispatched to the scene around 2:53 a.m., where they found a 45-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Later Sunday evening, a second victim — a 25-year-old man — arrived at Emory Hospital Warner Robins with a gunshot wound to the leg. Authorities said he was also injured during the same incident.
Police said investigators and identification criminalists responded due to the serious nature of the case.
Officials have not released information on what led to the fight or whether any suspects have been identified.
