LOUISIANA — The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a man injured early Monday morning in Gert Town.
Police said the incident occurred around 2:25 a.m. on Bloomingdale Court.
According to investigators, a man sustained at least one gunshot wound to the body during the incident.
Emergency medical services transported the victim to a hospital for treatment. Authorities have not released information on his condition.
