FLORIDA — A man is dead following an early morning shooting in Tallahassee, according to the Tallahassee Police Department.
Police said the shooting occurred around 1:30 a.m. Sunday in the 1100 block of Apalachee Parkway in South Tallahassee.
Investigators said the victim was shot multiple times following what authorities described as a “large physical altercation.”
Officials have not released the identity of the victim.
Police said no suspect information or arrests have been announced at this time, but noted there is no ongoing threat to the public.
A homicide investigation is underway, and authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the Tallahassee Police Department.
