OHIO — A woman is dead following a single-vehicle crash Saturday night in Mercer County, according to the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said the crash occurred around 9:50 p.m. on State Route 219 at Hillside Court in Franklin Township.
According to investigators, 41-year-old Jillian Geyer of Celina was driving north on State Route 219 when, for an unknown reason, she crossed the center line, left the roadway and struck a tree.
Officials said Geyer was pronounced dead at the scene.
Multiple agencies responded to the crash, including the Montezuma Fire Department, Coldwater Squad 7 and Mercer County Coroner Alyssa Tobe.
The crash remains under investigation.
