
OKLAHOMA — Thousands of residents across Oklahoma are without electricity as of Saturday morning, according to outage tracking data.
PowerOutage.us reports that approximately 2,804 customers statewide are currently without power, representing about 0.14% of the more than 2 million customers tracked across Oklahoma.
The highest number of outages has been reported in McCurtain County, where 631 customers are without power. Canadian County is reporting 470 outages, followed by Pottawatomie County with 377 and Sequoyah County with 280.
Additional outages have been reported in Oklahoma County with 246 customers affected, Cleveland County with 188 outages, Carter County with 140 and Pittsburg County with 132.
Among utility providers, OG&E Energy Corp. is reporting the largest number of impacted customers, with 1,585 outages. The Public Service Company of Oklahoma reports 748 customers without power, while Cookson Hills Electric Cooperative has 280 outages, representing the highest percentage of customers affected among utilities listed.
Officials say outages can fluctuate as crews work to restore service and new reports come in.
Residents experiencing outages are encouraged to report them to their local utility provider and to use caution around downed power lines.
The situation remains ongoing as utility crews continue restoration efforts across the state.
