
TEXAS — Police are investigating after a body was found in the Trinity River Friday afternoon in Dallas.
According to the Dallas Police Department, officers responded just before 5 p.m. to a call for service in the 6500 block of Great Trinity Forest Way.
When officers arrived, they located a body in the river, police said.
Authorities have not released the identity of the person.
Dallas Fire-Rescue was also called to the scene shortly after 5 p.m., but officials directed further questions to police.
No additional details about the circumstances surrounding the discovery have been released.
The investigation remains ongoing.
