
ALABAMA — A 29-year-old pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle Friday on a Tuscaloosa roadway, according to authorities.
The crash occurred around noon on Old Montgomery Highway. Officials said the victim was walking in the 5400 block of the roadway when he was hit by a southbound Ford F-350.
The pedestrian was transported to DCH Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 12:41 p.m.
The driver remained at the scene, authorities said.
The victim’s name has not been released.
The Tuscaloosa Police Department’s Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating the crash.
