
ARIZONA — A man was seriously injured in an early-morning shooting Friday in Glendale, according to police.
Officers responded shortly before 4 a.m. to the area of 59th Avenue and Missouri Avenue, between Camelback Road and Bethany Home Road, the Glendale Police Department said.
When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from life-threatening injuries at the scene. Authorities said no other individuals were located in the area.
Police closed a stretch of 59th Avenue between Missouri and Oregon avenues as part of the investigation.
Officials have not released additional details about what led to the shooting.
The investigation remains ongoing.
