TENNESSEE — Nearly 200 pounds of narcotics were seized during a multi-county drug bust in Middle Tennessee this week, according to authorities.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) worked alongside Metro police and several partner agencies to execute search warrants across Davidson, Rutherford and Sumner counties.

Officials said the operation resulted in the seizure of 161 pounds of crystal methamphetamine, 21 pounds of cocaine, eight pounds of fentanyl and four pounds of marijuana.

Investigators also recovered 10 firearms, including a fully automatic AR-15, as well as more than $700,000 in cash.

The investigation involved multiple agencies, including Metro police, the TBI, the 18th Judicial District Drug Task Force and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).

Authorities have not released information about any arrests.

The investigation remains ongoing.
