
OKLAHOMA — Thousands of customers across Oklahoma are without electricity Thursday morning, according to the latest data from PowerOutage.us.
As of the most recent update, approximately 2,506 homes and businesses are without power statewide. That represents about 0.12% of the more than 2 million customers tracked across the state.
Oklahoma County reports the highest number of outages, with 651 customers affected. Other impacted areas include Le Flore County with 460 outages, Pottawatomie County with 400, and Lincoln County with 298. Additional outages have been reported in Creek, Tulsa, Pontotoc and Mayes counties.
By utility provider, OG&E Energy Corp. reports the largest number of outages, with 2,135 customers without power. Public Service Company of Oklahoma and several electric cooperatives report smaller numbers of outages.
Statewide, Oklahoma ranks among the top 10 states in the nation for both total outages and percentage of customers affected.
Utility crews are expected to continue working to restore service as quickly as possible.
