NORTH CAROLINA — At least one person has been arrested in connection with a drug investigation in Waxhaw, according to authorities.
Officials said multiple agencies, including the Waxhaw Police Department, responded around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday to a home on Ridgehaven Road.
A federal law enforcement agent at the scene told NBC News that a warrant was executed at the residence as part of an ongoing drug investigation.
Authorities have not released details about the suspect or any charges at this time.
A spokesperson for the Waxhaw Police Department confirmed the investigation but said no additional information is currently available.
The investigation remains ongoing.
