OKLAHOMA — Police are investigating a double homicide after two people were found dead inside a vehicle late Tuesday night in Tulsa, according to the Tulsa Police Department.
Officers were called around 11:30 p.m. to the Apache Manor Apartments near Apache Street and Harvard Avenue. When they arrived, they found a man and a woman dead inside a vehicle at the complex.
Investigators said both victims had been shot. One victim was found in the driver’s seat, while the other was in the rear passenger seat.
Authorities are working to determine when the shooting occurred, noting that early information suggests it may have happened earlier in the evening. Police said residents reported hearing gunshots, and a passerby later noticed the victims in the vehicle.
The victims have not been identified as officials continue working to notify their families.
Police also said there is a strong possibility the suspect involved in a separate officer-involved shooting nearby overnight could be connected to this case. Investigators are continuing to gather information.
The investigation remains ongoing.
