TEXAS — A 31-year-old man was killed in a shooting early Wednesday on the East Side of San Antonio, according to police.
Officers with the San Antonio Police Department responded just after 1:15 a.m. to reports of gunfire in the 1500 block of Center Street near North Mittman Street.
When officers arrived, they found the man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his upper and lower body. He was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders.
Witnesses told police they heard gunfire and saw a black sedan leaving the area following the shooting.
Authorities said the victim’s identity will be released by the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office, which will also determine the official cause and manner of death.
No suspects have been identified, and the investigation remains ongoing.
