ALABAMA — A Millbrook man was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Tuesday morning in Coosa County, according to Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
Authorities said the crash happened around 12:30 a.m. on U.S. Highway 231 near the 189 mile marker, about two miles south of Rockford.
Troopers said 19-year-old Keith Young of Millbrook was driving a 2007 Honda Accord when the vehicle left the roadway, struck a tree and overturned.
Investigators said Young was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
