Pedestrian injured after being struck by vehicle in Pennsylvania

PENNSYLVANIA — A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday afternoon in Lancaster County, according to dispatch.

The crash occurred around 3:55 p.m. at the intersection of Route 23 and Graybill Road in Upper Leacock Township.

Authorities said the pedestrian was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The extent of the injuries has not been released.

Fire police directed traffic in the area for about an hour while crews responded to the scene.

Officials said the scene has since been cleared.

The incident remains under investigation.
